Hi there, I’m Leslie - owner and original photographer behind Leslie Ann Photography.
People often ask how I got started in weddings, and the truth is… it wasn’t exactly planned. In fact, when a friend of my sister’s asked me to photograph her wedding, my first response was a pretty firm “No way!” I had only photographed dogs and ducks in my high school photography class. Weddings felt like a lot. But after a few persistent conversations, I reluctantly agreed. And guess what? They loved their photos... and so did five of their friends, who all asked me to capture their weddings the following year.
I quickly realized how much I loved the joy, energy, and the meaning behind every celebration. So I leaned in, built a business, and never looked back.
Now, more than 25 years later, Leslie Ann Photography is known for a wedding photography style that blends guided posing prompts with authentic, candid moments. My team and I travel throughout Arizona, capturing every meaningful moment with care, clarity, and heart.
Our couples value emotional connection, natural elegance, and timeless imagery. They trust us to document their wedding day beautifully and we don’t take that lightly.
I'm a country girl living in the city, a mom and an Arizona native who enjoys spending hot days at the lake or by the pool. Gym time is a necessity thanks to my love of so many sweet treats!! I'm not afraid of hard work, love DIY projects, all sorts of crafting and Mexican food.

We understand that choosing your wedding photographer is one of the most personal and important decisions you’ll make. Who will be photographing my wedding?
You won’t be matched with just anyone - we promise. While Leslie personally photographs a limited number of weddings each year, she and Amber are involved from the very beginning to ensure every couple + photographer is paired making the perfect fit.
During your consultation, we take the time to get to know you — your story, your personalities, your wedding style, and any special cultural or religious traditions. From there, we thoughtfully select the Leslie Ann photographer who aligns best with your vision.
Each photographer on our team is mentored by Leslie to shoot in the same signature style, and our team personally edits every gallery — so your images will reflect the look and feel you see throughout our portfolio.
Of course, this pairing is ultimately up to you. Once we’ve made a recommendation, we’ll share your photographer’s personal portfolio for you to review and approve - ensuring you feel confident, connected, and completely excited.
Engagement sessions are included with some of our collections and totally worth adding on if yours doesn’t have one built in.
We love these sessions because they’re the perfect warm-up. It’s a fun way for you to hang out with your photographer, get to know each other, and ease into the image creation process... without the timeline pressure of a wedding day. You'll learn what feels good, we’ll find your best angles, and by the end of it, you’ll feel like total naturals in front of the camera.
Plus, you’ll walk away with beautiful, relaxed photos of the two of you and a lot more confidence heading into your big day.

We always recommend reserving your date as early as possible, especially if you’re planning a wedding between October and May. Those popular months tend to fill up quickly. Most couples reach out 10–18 months in advance, and we’re already booking into 2027.
That said, with our full team of talented photographers, we sometimes have more flexibility. So even if your date is sooner than that, don’t hesitate to reach out, it might be your lucky day!
Absolutely! Many of our couples are planning their dream wedding in Arizona from out of state and we’re here to make that process feel as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Arizona is a sought-after destination for a good reason, and we work with long-distance couples often to help make the process feel effortless. Most choose to work with a local planner to help coordinate details, and if you haven’t found one yet, we’re happy to introduce you to a few of our favorites.
Whether you’re working with a planner or planning solo, we’d love to hear more about your day and how we can support your vision. You don’t have to be local to feel completely taken care of.
Our collections are thoughtfully designed to provide the right coverage for your day. If your wedding calls for a second or even third photographer, we’ll make it happen at no extra cost to you.
We’ll look at a few key details together, like your guest count, bridal party size, whether you're including video, your vision for the photos, and how the timeline is structured. From there, we’ll determine exactly what’s needed to capture your day fully and beautifully.
