What an incredible day it was shooting McKenna and Jace’s engagement photos! These two are a perfect match, and their love for each other shines through in every photo. We shot their engagement session at the stunning Silverleaf Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, a place that holds a special place in McKenna’s heart. Her family has been members there since she was just 10 years old, and it’s where Jace and McKenna celebrated their engagement with a beautiful party last year. The architecture and breathtaking views created the perfect backdrop for this radiant and romantic engagement session!
Their story is one for the books! McKenna and Jace actually met in 2004, thanks to McKenna’s brother, Jackson. Jace and Jackson were best friends in preschool, and their bond led to a close friendship between their families. Even after the Burkes moved to Ohio, the connection stayed strong across the miles. It wasn’t until years later, during Jace’s spring break from college, that he and McKenna reconnected. After that weekend together, their relationship blossomed into something beautiful. Jace even moved back to Scottsdale just months later, and not long after, he asked McKenna to be his girlfriend. Fast forward five years, and Jace proposed on a romantic trip to Flagstaff—cue the happy tears!
This couple is as fun as they are in love! From the moment we started their photoshoot, I could tell they were excited for their wedding day, and their excitement was contagious. Whether they were laughing or gazing into each other’s eyes, the chemistry between them was undeniable. Their playful energy and loving connection made capturing their radiant and romantic engagement so much fun. We spent the day laughing, chatting, and taking pictures in some of the most stunning spots around the country club.
