Real Weddings

Andrea

Heya! Andrea here! As a proud boy mom, weddings give me a delightful break with all the beautiful, soft, and girlie details. When it comes to photography, my strengths are in perfecting each image and capturing those special details... oh, how I love those details! As an Enneagram 1, I set high standards for myself, am disciplined, & work hard, but I’m also practical, self-aware, & always ready to advocate for others (especially you)! With 17 years of experience, I’m more like the favorite aunt at weddings and who wouldn’t want that kind of support on their big day? I’ve also learned that life isn’t all black & white, and I’m embracing a little more flexibility these days. My husband and I are travel enthusiasts, always exploring new places on a budget, and when we’re not traveling, you’ll find us kayaking on the river or skiing in the mountains. Above all, I cherish my family—my amazing husband, three sons, daughters-in-law, and my two adorable granddaughters!

If you weren’t a photographer, what would you be doing?

Finance/Accounting or some type of forensic work.

What’s one thing that always makes you smile on a wedding day?

When couples call me by name, express excitement to see me, or show genuine appreciation, it truly makes me smile. Feeling valued and connected to the couple makes all the difference on their big day!

How would your friends describe your personality in three words?

Loyal. Detailed. Surprisingly Introverted. Recovering Perfectionist... ok that's four.

What’s your go-to comfort TV show or movie?

A good laugh with Everybody Loves Raymond or some historical documentaries.

Early bird or night owl?

Do you have to be one? Neither really. Not a napper and super productive during the day.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I like the comfort food dishes. But my guilty pleasure is Handle’s French Silk Pie ice cream. They do french silk pie better than french pie does french silk pie!

What’s a random talent or skill you have that people might not expect?

I always felt my talent eggs were put in 1 basket: photography. However, I work for a finance advisor part time so often I have a great talent of switching between left brain and right brain work!

What’s one thing you must have in your car at all times?

A charging cord would be about it. But I would die without my Sirius 80s pop and 90s country channels.
