My photography journey began at 15, purely for fun, and grew into a lifelong passion. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Photography from NAU in 2009, and I’ve been a professional photographer ever since. One of my favorite moments on a wedding day is the preparations, particularly experiencing the anticipation leading up to the bride and groom's first meeting.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably wrangling my three dogs-especially my border collie puppy, who has endless energy and zero chill. I’m also a proud dad to my adorable baby girl, and we watch Disney movies daily together. I enjoy hiking when the Arizona weather is kind, and cooking and baking with my beautiful wife, especially when we’re trying new recipes.

If you weren’t a photographer, what would you be doing?

Photography is my side business so not much change if I didn't photograph weddings.

What’s one thing that always makes you smile on a wedding day?

There’s something magical about that first moment the bride and groom see each other, it gets me every time.

How would your friends describe your personality in three words?

Sarcastic. Honest. Hardworking.

What’s your go-to comfort TV show or movie?

Re-runs of Scrubs for sure!

Early bird or night owl?

I enjoy waking up early more than staying up late.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

TACOS!

What’s a random talent or skill you have that people might not expect?

My hidden talent is not knowing what I am doing and thinking on my feet. 

What’s one thing you must have in your car at all times?

Fuel.
