Hi, I’m Silvana, a passionate photographer with a deep love for storytelling through images. Whether I’m documenting a wedding, a family session, or a quiet moment in between, I’m always chasing genuine connection and emotion. I also work as a medical photographer at Mayo Clinic, which allows me to use my skills in a meaningful way to help others and give back. I believe photography is more than capturing what things look like - it’s about preserving how they felt. I’ve spent years refining my craft, blending artistic vision with a heartfelt approach that puts people at ease. I’m originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and have called Arizona home for nearly two decades. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me with my family, enjoying simple moments or planning our next adventure. Photography is my way of celebrating life, love, and the stories that make us who we are.

If you weren’t a photographer, what would you be doing?

Something creative like marketing or interior styling!

What’s one thing that always makes you smile on a wedding day?

Seeing the parents tear up during the ceremony - especially when the mom of the bride or groom holds back tears. It always reminds me of the importance of what I’m capturing and connects me deeply with the moment.

How would your friends describe your personality in three words?

Empathetic. Dedicated. Trustworthy.

What’s your go-to comfort TV show or movie?

Gilmore Girls or Friends - they feel cozy, familiar, and calming. A little escape that brings comfort after long days.

Early bird or night owl?

Early bird with a night owl creative spirit! I love starting my day early but often find inspiration late at night when the world is quiet.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Rice, beans, a fresh salad, and grilled meat - classic Brazilian comfort food!

What’s a random talent or skill you have that people might not expect?

I speak 3 languages - Portuguese, Spanish and English. I can do french braids :)

What’s one thing you must have in your car at all times?

Phone charger, water, and an extra pair of comfortable shoes - because being a prepared photographer is everything.
