As the Client Relationship Coordinator here at Leslie Ann Photography, I get to walk alongside so many love stories. However, Susan and Curtis’ Blissful Intimate Wedding truly stayed with me in the best way. From the moment they arrived at the venue, you could feel the calm joy in the air. This day focused on one simple thing—marrying your best friend—and Susan and Curtis did exactly that, surrounded by the people who matter most.
They chose Venue at the Grove because it feels like a hidden garden right in the middle of Phoenix, Arizona. Although the city buzzes nearby, the venue sits wrapped in greenery and quiet moments. Even better, the ceremony lawn became the heart of the day. The space felt open, peaceful, and deeply personal, which made every vow feel even more meaningful.
Susan and Curtis wanted their ceremony to truly wow their guests, and it absolutely did. Every word felt intentional. Every glance felt full of love. In addition, the wine and burgundy tones worn by the wedding party added richness and warmth, creating a timeless look that photographed beautifully. The colors tied everything together without overpowering the intimacy of the moment.
One of the most touching parts of this Blissful Intimate Wedding was the beautiful blending of family. Susan’s daughters welcomed Curtis with open arms, and you could see that love in every interaction. Throughout the day, laughter flowed easily, hugs came often, and everyone felt connected. Because of that, the entire celebration felt genuine and full of heart.
In the end, this wedding reminded me why intimate celebrations feel so powerful. Susan and Curtis didn’t need anything extra. They had love, family, and a peaceful space to begin their next chapter together—and that made their wedding truly unforgettable.
