Karely Meets Matt

Very few if any go to the gym expecting to meet the love of their life. But how cool would it be if you could? A gym buddy for life? That is a claim that is pretty irresistible. Karely and Matt were one of the lucky few to meet their soulmate and lifelong workout partner in the same place at the same time. These two ‘lifted’ each other’s spirits from the minute they met and were eventually attached at the hip. I had a blast seeing these two flourish together at their colorful botanical garden engagement session.

Even though meeting at the gym is an awesome modern day love story, Karely and Matt wanted to choose a location less hardcore and more romantic for the bulk of their engagement photos. They chose the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, AZ to take the place of the gym, documenting their love journey. This is one of my favorite engagement photo locations because every time I visit it reminds me of how beautiful the Arizona desert is. Many stereotype it is bland and dry and dull. However, this garden is home to a variety of cacti, succulents, trees, flowers, and shrubs. It showcases all of the most beautiful Arizona plants, the perfect location for this beautiful couple’s photos!
