Early Spring Colorful Wedding | Kimmie & Marcus
When Kimmie and Marcus got engaged, they thought they’d just elope, keep it super simple! They shared the idea with Kimmie’s parents and the idea quickly changed to a small colorful wedding over brunch with several handfuls of their closest people! The color palette that was created was just amazing and so perfect for a spring wedding in Phoenix! And I was blown away by how the courtyard at Villa Siena was turned into this intimate, colorful wedding setting.
Kimmie and I spoke a lot about how the day should go. When she mentioned to me that she wanted to do her engagement session AFTER the wedding, I thought “well, that’s interesting”. She then explained to me how she found a second dress and she couldn’t decide which one to use for the wedding and decided the “engagement” session would be a desert session with her second dress! And let me tell you, it was an AMAZING dress and perfect for the occasion and desert setting. Check out the colorful wedding crown she wore at the end of the session… SO FUN!
Kimmie & Marcus
Marcus and Kimmie met 5 years ago during a company softball game. They were on opposing teams and Marcus struck up a conversation with her while at bat… Kimmie was the catcher. A couple weeks later they went on their first date, Kimmie told me it lasted every bit of 6 hours. Obviously every day has been what they were looking for and their single life became history. They now live in Arizona with their fur-pup, Penny the English Bulldog. I hope you didn’t miss her wedding debut, she was so cute with her flower crown coming down the isle with Marcus! When I asked what they enjoy doing the reply was “We love discovering our new city together and making it home. And we are looking forward to expanding our little family in the upcoming years.”
