When I think back on Tawnie and Andrew’s wedding day, the words that come to mind are charming, heartfelt, and truly unforgettable. Their Enchanting Intimate Wedding at Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona, perfectly reflected who they are as a couple.

Tawnie and Andrew first met during a speed dating event, and their connection quickly grew into a sweet friendship and lasting love. They are both natural jokesters who love making each other laugh, and that fun energy followed them throughout their entire wedding day.

The couple chose Desert Botanical Gardens because of its stunning collection of native Arizona plants. Their wedding décor embraced the beauty of the desert with succulents, cacti, and garden-inspired details that blended perfectly with the venue. One of their favorite features was simply being surrounded by the incredible desert landscape. It created the perfect setting for their intimate celebration.

One of the most anticipated moments of the day was Tawnie walking down the aisle. The excitement and emotion on Andrew’s face made that moment even more special. Their wedding party complemented the beautiful surroundings with light slate blue bridesmaid dress, a classic black tuxedo for the groom, and a fun pop of color from the best man’s blue shirt.

Guests enjoyed a delicious meal featuring chicken thighs, peppercorn steak, and a grazing table filled with tasty bites. However, one of my favorite memories happened during portraits. Tawnie and Andrew were a little shy in front of the camera when apart, but everything changed once they were together. Their smiles became effortless, and their personalities truly shined. We even made it to Tawnie’s favorite spot near Webster Center before sunset, where we captured gorgeous photos with the mountain backdrop.
