I get to hear so many sweet love stories… but Demi and Andrew’s Fun Nature wedding in Phoenix, Arizona at Lost Dutchman was truly something special. From the moment they booked, I knew this day would be intimate, emotional, and full of fun energy.
Right away, Demi told me they were most excited to simply get married and spend the day having fun with everyone they love. And honestly, that joy came through in every part of their planning. Nature inspired all their décor—warm fall colors, earthy textures, and that gorgeous Superstition Mountain backdrop. They picked Lost Dutchman because of their deep connection to the area and, of course, their shared love for Italian food. I mean… a pasta-filled reception in the desert? Yes, please.
One of my favorite things about this wedding was how personal it felt. Demi’s mom actually handmade her wedding dress from scratch using sketches Demi drew. It was the prettiest ivory-yellow tone, and knowing it was created by her mom made it even more meaningful. Then there was her ring set—an heirloom from Andrew’s great-grandmother dating back to 1939! Talk about history and heart.
Before the rush of the day, Demi and Andrew even snuck away for breakfast together. Just the two of them, soaking in the moment. I love when couples do that—it sets such a calm, connected tone.
And of course, I can’t forget the Brewsters! This was the third and final Brewster son Leslie has photographed, which made the whole day feel like a family reunion for our team.
Classic Italian dishes, buffet-style serving, fun drinks, a flexible reception layout, and a whole lot of laughter… Demi and Andrew created exactly what they hoped for: a day where guests felt joy above all else. A truly perfect, fun, nature-inspired wedding.
