Oh my goodness, you guys — Andrea and Michael’s graceful charming engagement session in Downtown Phoenix was one for the books! These two are seriously so fun and full of energy, and even when things didn’t go as planned, they kept smiling the whole time. They actually drove into town just for the session, but when they arrived, Andrea realized she had forgotten her dress and shoes. Can you imagine?! But instead of panicking, she rocked the session in her sweatshirt & shorts — and honestly, she looked amazing!

We picked Downtown Phoenix for its modern vibe, cool backdrops, and that perfect mix of edgy and romantic. Andrea and Michael brought so much personality to every single shot. They laughed, danced, and made the whole evening feel like a mini adventure. You’d never know the outfit wasn’t planned — Andrea’s confidence and joy completely stole the show. And Michael couldn’t stop smiling at her, which made my job as their photographer so easy.

These two first met through mutual friends a few years ago, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. You can tell they’re not only in love but genuinely best friends. It was so fun to hear about their wedding plans and how excited they are to finally say “I do.” They have such an easy, natural connection, and you can feel the happiness between them in every photo.

Despite the wardrobe hiccup, this session turned out to be so memorable and full of life. It was the perfect reminder that love isn’t about everything being perfect — it’s about having fun and rolling with it together. Andrea and Michael absolutely nailed that vibe. I can’t wait to see them all dressed up on their big day, but this graceful charming engagement session will forever be one of my favorites!
