Increase Your Client Inquiries
Hi there!! I’ve found a way for some of you to increase your client inquires or at least find your marketing platforms outside of Instagram!! You see these past few weeks have been a huge challenge for so many in this country since COVID-19 was introduced to us!! The Weddings and Events Industry has been hit hard and my heart breaks for all our clients and the vendors who are having to make changes to nearly all of their spring events! This industry will not make anyone “rich”, we do it because we love it! We love investing in our clients and see their vision come to life and celebrate with them. Many of us in Arizona will not have another event until September, hoping we can get the country back to action by then!! So it just makes me sad for everyone! BUT we will come back from this!
Having some extra time, locked in my house for weeks now has allowed me time to “stalk” my industry friends!! OK… not really stalk but I definitely went down many many rabbit holes on Instagram! Yes, I found so many of you!!! The problem was, some didn’t make it EASY to get to you past Instagram! Some of you have your website link and that’s GREAT!! However, some have their link pointing to a site they were featured on but don’t own (sending clients down the road) and some have nothing and some have an invalid link!! So I’m going to give you a couple ideas and resources on how to potentially increase your client inquiries and keep them in YOUR space!! My simple suggestion is give them alternatives! So here are some suggestions.

1. Optimize your Instagram Bio Link!! This is not a new thing but something I love and feel more people should use! It allows visitors to have options of what they want to see… where their rabbit hole takes them, keep them in your spaces as long as possible… I can link to my website, to Facebook, to a recent blog post on MY blog, I can link to a featured wedding on a wedding website too and some apps even allow email list integration. The best part most of them have a free subscription option for basic use. AND IT’S SO EASY!! I personally use Linktree and have access to unlimited links FOR FREE.
I’ve not used these two options, but I’d encourage you to check into them to see what would work best for you LnkBio & Shorby.
2. If the first suggestion doesn’t appeal to you, check your bio details. If you are linking to your website, PLEASE make sure the link is correct! Additionally, if you have your email address listed in your bio, please make sure that is correct too.
Quit making it hard for potential clients to connect with you and increase your client inquiries!!
