Intimate Joyful Engagement | Katherine & Michael
Katherine and Michael’s engagement session was such a fun and heartwarming shoot! These two are full of love, laughter, and the kind of joy that’s contagious. We met up at the beautiful Papago Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona, which gave us the most stunning backdrop of warm desert colors and soft golden light. It was the perfect setting for an intimate joyful engagement shoot that really captured the essence of their love story.
Originally from the Chicagoland area, Katherine and Michael met during their senior year at the University of Arizona. Their connection was instant, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. After graduating, they moved up to the Tempe/Scottsdale area where they’ve built a life together. You can truly see their strong bond and fun-loving nature in every photo — they were all smiles, laughter, and sweet moments.
The Arizona desert light was dreamy during golden hour, and Papago Mountain gave us amazing views and colors. These two wanted to showcase the natural beauty of the state they now call home, and we couldn’t have picked a better location. It’s extra special knowing they’ll be getting married under a similar Arizona sunset sky in February. Every shot felt meaningful and full of personality — from the warm hugs to the quiet moments looking out over the red rocks.
This intimate joyful engagement session was such a blast to capture. Katherine and Michael’s love is lighthearted, genuine, and full of promise. I know their wedding day is going to be just as beautiful and full of love. I’m so honored to have been a part of this sweet chapter in their journey!
