Intimate Joyous Engagement | Kathleen & Brandon
There’s something so magical about photographing a couple who’s not only totally in love, but also just bursting with excitement for the future. Kathleen and Brandon were exactly that! We had the best time capturing their intimate, joyous engagement session at the stunning Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona. Surrounded by cacti, desert blooms, and that golden Arizona sunshine, this shoot felt straight out of a dream.
Kathleen and Brandon met a few years ago through mutual friends and instantly hit it off. They’ve shared so many adventures together since then, and now they’re getting ready for the biggest one yet — becoming parents! Yep, this session was extra special because they’re expecting a little girl next month. We were able to sneak in some sweet maternity moments during their shoot, and let me tell you, they were glowing (especially Kathleen — total goddess vibes!).
They chose the Desert Botanical Gardens because Arizona holds such a special place in their hearts. Brandon used to visit here all the time growing up and always dreamed of starting a family in this beautiful state. The location was the perfect mix of romantic desert vibes and natural beauty — it couldn’t have been more them. Every spot we walked to had the most charming backdrops, from winding trails to pops of wildflowers and towering cacti.
This session was full of laughter, sweet moments, and so much joy. Kathleen and Brandon are the kind of couple who make you believe in love all over again. Their big day is going to be filled with love, family, and so much happiness — and I already know it’s going to be just as beautiful as their intimate, joyous engagement session. Can’t wait to capture even more magic when they say “I do!”
