Modern Engagement Session | Susan & Curtis
Oh my goodness, I had so much fun hanging out with Susan and Curtis for their modern engagement session at Heritage Square in Phoenix, Arizona! These two are full of energy, smiles, and sweet little moments that made this shoot such a joy. From the second we met up, I could tell they were just so excited to celebrate their love and start the countdown to their wedding day.
Susan and Curtis picked Heritage Square for its modern vibe, and it fit them perfectly. The mix of city textures and soft natural elements made a beautiful backdrop. They told me how much they loved how I bring nature into urban spaces—and it totally clicked with their wedding venue, which is right in the heart of the city but surrounded by greenery. I love when couples choose places that feel meaningful to them, and this spot was so “them.”
These two met through mutual friends and instantly clicked. You can tell they’re best friends who genuinely enjoy being around each other. During the shoot, they laughed, danced a little, and just had fun being together. It wasn’t posed or stiff—it was easy, light, and full of love. That’s what I always want from an modern engagement session!
I can’t wait to see these two say “I do!” Their day is going to be such a blast, and I feel lucky to be the one capturing it. If this session was any hint of what’s to come, their wedding is going to be modern, fun, and totally blissful.
