I had such a blast photographing Alyssa and Tyler’s engagement session at Papago Park in Phoenix, Arizona! These two are full of life, love, and laughs — the kind of couple that instantly makes you smile just being around them. We wandered through the park during golden hour, soaking up the warm desert light, exploring lakes, cacti, and those famous red rock formations. Even though it was a bit warm out, these two made the whole shoot feel like a peaceful, fun engagement adventure.

Alyssa and Tyler met during their junior year at NAU, and it’s clear that their connection is something special. They’re that couple who can’t stop giggling together, and you can tell they’re not just in love — they’re truly best friends. In between shots, we chatted, spotted some roadrunners (yes, actual roadrunners!), and even made plans to all come back when the weather cools off for a little picnic.

Papago Park was the perfect location for their shoot — it offers so many different looks in one spot, from rocky backdrops to serene lakes. We found a few quiet areas that gave off such a peaceful vibe, and those were some of my favorite moments. Alyssa and Tyler weren’t afraid to be playful, even forehead-to-forehead with a little sweat — that’s real love and real fun right there!

These two are counting down the days to their wedding, and I can already tell it’s going to be full of joy, laughter, and maybe even more wildlife sightings. 😉 I’m so excited for them and thankful I got to be part of this special chapter in their story.
