I had the absolute joy of photographing Kaila and Jeremy’s romantic engagement session at Pecan Lake Entertainment in Phoenix, Arizona. These two were full of laughter, love, and excitement for their upcoming wedding day! From the moment we started shooting, their sweet connection was so natural—it felt like photographing best friends who are truly meant to be. The soft light reflecting off the lake created the perfect peaceful and intimate setting for their photos.

Kaila and Jeremy first met through mutual friends, and their story has been filled with fun adventures ever since. They love exploring new places together, so it’s no surprise that their proposal story is just as beautiful as their photos. During a trip to North Carolina, they visited Yates Mill—a charming water mill surrounded by scenic trails. While taking photos near the waterfall, Jeremy dropped to one knee and asked Kaila to marry him. It was the perfect, heartfelt moment that now holds a special place in their hearts.

Because of their love for nature and peaceful surroundings, Kaila and Jeremy chose Pecan Lake Entertainment for their engagement session. The calm water, tall trees, and open space created a romantic and intimate atmosphere that matched their personalities perfectly. As we walked around the lake, they shared stories, held hands, and couldn’t stop smiling at each other. Every photo radiated pure love and joy.
