Romantic Graceful Engagement | Meghan & Maxwell
I had the absolute joy of photographing Meghan and Maxwell’s romantic and graceful engagement session, at the stunning Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona. From the moment they arrived, you could tell how excited they were! Not just for the shoot, but for their upcoming wedding day. The desert setting, with its beautiful cacti, colorful flowers, and glowing Arizona sunset, couldn’t have been more perfect for them.
Meghan and Max are Phoenix natives and knew exactly why they wanted this location. They both love the desert—from the towering saguaros to the rugged mountain views. The light was golden and dreamy, and these two brought so much laughter and love with them. Every shot was full of sweet smiles, warm hugs, and stolen kisses—exactly what you want in a romantic engagement session.
Their story is just as sweet as their shoot. Meghan and Max met at work seven years ago, and as it turns out, they had a lot in common—including being ASU alums! You can really see how well they know each other and how comfortable they are just being themselves. Their connection is easy and natural, and it was such a joy to capture that. They’re planning a Valentine’s Day wedding next year at Villa Siena, and if their wedding is anything like their session, it’s going to be nothing short of magical.
I love when couples choose spots that mean something to them, and Meghan and Max did just that. Their romantic graceful engagement session was full of charm, love, and genuine moments that showed who they are. I left the shoot with a huge smile and can’t wait to see them again on their big day. These two are a dream couple and their love story is one for the books!
