St Andrew the Apostle Wedding

After finally meeting Ashly and Paul just hours before their wedding ceremony, I knew one thing. These two are perfect together! Ashly and Paul met on Match.com. After being together for about one year, they took their first vacation together. Destination: Cancun, Mexico. I wish I were more like Paul… there is no way I could pull off anything like Paul’s proposal… I’d would have locked myself in the lavatory if the idea even entered my thoughts! Picture this: International flight to Cancun, Mexico. Thirty thousand plus feet in the air and beverages and peanuts have been passed. Paul talks a flight attendant into allowing him to use the intercom system… It went something like this:

“Raise your hand if you are on vacation. I am too, with one of the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. And the craziest thing I could do is surprise her cause she knows this is coming BUT this is the best way to embarrass her as well as myself. Ash, I love you more than anything. You’ve made me the happiest guy in the world. Will you please marry me? I love you!”

She said Yes, and that was followed by a number of strangers, mostly women, squealing with joy for the two of them. Their wedding day at St Andrew the Apostle followed by the party at Villa Siena was full pretty decor and lots of laughter because Paul seems to be a comedian and can make anyone laugh, especially Ashly. My favorite piece of the day had to be Ashly’s bouquet that was made up of white hydrangeas, blush spray roses, juliet garden roses, white ranunculus, white astilbe (one of my all time favorites), blush roses, peach stock and dusty miller. It was perfection!! Ashly and Paul, congratulations to you both and I wish nothing but the best for you two and your growing family!! Lots of hugs!!
