Natalie and Ben’s engagement session is preceded by nearly 6 years of dating. Here’s their short story! Ben and Natalie are pretty low key – they met during school (both in the construction management program) at NAU during the last semester of Ben’s senior year. They had our surveying class together, while Natalie promised she would help Ben with his Spanish homework… a requirement to graduate. But that help came with a stipulation… he had to go out dancing with Natalie that night! They never stopped hanging out since. After he graduated, they dated long distance from Phoenix to Flagstaff for 2 years until Natalie graduated. They enjoyed a few short months together in Phoenix, until Ben’s employment transferred him to Texas for a year. So they pushed thru another year of long distance.
They finally navigated their lives together as a couple in the same city and moved in together. They got a puppy for their 6 year anniversary and she runs their lives. I’m so excited to meet Lilly as she will be one of the flower girls at the wedding and I hear she loves being the center of attention.
Ben finally proposed after six year and Natalie said she had absolutely no idea that it was coming! Natalie quickly called me to chat about an engagement session at Papago Park and their wedding day photography. I can’t wait to share all of that with you too. They are getting married at Ben’s family home in Flagstaff and after hearing all the work and detail they’ve put into making it perfect, you won’t want to miss those photos either!!
