You guys, I’ve been looking forward to meeting these two for about a year now… they live in Virgina and don’t make it to Arizona very often. And I knew they were going to be beyond great, I could have spent all night with these two!! They are in love with the desert so north Scottsdale was a perfect location for their desert engagement session. They are so full of life and love!! They always find the bright side to any situation and see only the best in people! It’s actually quite remarkable and a great reminder for myself to find the positive in every situation.

Wendy and Joel were introduced by a mutual friend when Joel was in pilot training at Sheppard Air Force Base. Once Wendy heard lawyer and fighter pilot she immediately dismissed him assuming that level of awesomeness could not exist in a single person. They did have a brief conversation that night but headed separate ways, likely to never meet up again. But as fate would have it, Joel moved from base housing into an apartment building twenty minutes away and go figure, it was directly across the hall from where Wendy was living. Months later, they became re-acquainted at a Valentine’s day party thrown by the apartment community where they lived. They two were not only oblivious to the fact that they were neighbors but also that they had already met months earlier. They hit it off that Valentine’s Day night.
