Hi, my name is Jon. I'm a videographer originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I now live in Phoenix, Arizona. I love capturing the epic moments of a wedding day. For me, it's all about telling a story. There's a lot of pressure, because you only get one shot to do it right, but that challenge is what drives me. My style is very storytelling-focused, using audio from vows and first looks to create an emotional connection, while mixing in cinematic music to bring it all together. I'm also a full-time surgical nurse, so it's pretty awesome to live in two completely different worlds. My wife and I love to dance, so I always make sure to highlight those dancing moments in wedding films, it's something close to our hearts.

If you weren’t a videographer, what would you be doing?

I’d still be working in the creative field since I love taking videos at our country swing dance nights and making fun social media content. I’d still be doing what I do now, just in different ways... and I’d still be a nurse too.

What’s one thing that always makes you smile on a wedding day?

seeing the father and daughter interaction, especially if they do a first look. Those moments always hit deep for me.

Definitely be something action-packed! I really love treasure-seeking and adventure-style films.

Early bird or night owl?

I’m kind of on the fence. I’m definitely a night owl when it comes to most things, but I’m also an early bird when it comes to workouts or being productive in the morning.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

If I could eat one meal for the rest of my life and not gain weight, it would absolutely be ice cream, pizza, and tacos.

What’s a random talent or skill you have that people might not expect?

I can do handstand walks.

What’s one thing you must have in your car at all times?

I always need to have a car charger and a phone mount because I’m constantly using maps, listening to music, and keeping things hands-free.

How would your friends describe your personality in three words?

Funny. Loud. Creative. and Caring. That’s four words, but that’s me!
