Christina and Paul’s Scottsdale Engagement Session

“I am so nervous and cannot wait all at the same time!!!” Was the email I received from Christina about the anticipation (and possibly some anxiety) about their engagement session. Which in turn made me a little nervous thinking I wouldn’t be able to get any natural smiles or expressions. OH. WAS. I. WRONG!! These two were fabulous, rocked this session, like they’ve done it 100 times over! Paul & Christina’s friendship started about 7 years ago when they both, independently, looking for a hockey team to play on. Co-ed hockey teams I guess are pretty rare but these two ended up on the same team that started out as a “couples” team. Hmmm, these two had never met prior to this and they end up on a “couples” team… fate?? Fast forward about 5 years, Christina is back from her international studies in Dubai, they are out with friends and Paul makes his move. the rest is history, here they are taking engagement photos. I can’t even begin to explain their relationship, they both overflow with kind, thoughtful and generous hearts. Christina’s smile is so contagious and perfect it’ll light up the entire room. Their joy is undeniable and so beautiful!! Their only request for the engagement session was to include the sport that brought them together at the Ice Den… hockey! Secretively, I was scared to be on the ice with my TOMS (which have no traction what so ever), scared that I would slip and end up with some sort of injury. But, I managed to stay on my feet the entire time :) I can’t wait for their Villa Siena wedding next spring, so excited!!
