Some love stories start over coffee. Jenn and Drew’s started at an airport. Their future was destined leading to a heartfelt wedding.
They met on Hinge. Drew made the first move. And for their very first date, they met in person at the airport and flew to San Diego together. When Drew spotted Jenn for the first time, he pretended to run toward her like the end of a rom-com. Jenn knew right then that this relationship would always have some fun in it.
Drew describes Jenn as sunshine in human form. After spending October 9 with these two, we can confirm. She is!!
The little moments are the ones that stuck. On the Uber ride back to the airport, Drew grabbed Jenn’s hand. It felt natural and comfortable. Not forced. That was when she knew she wanted a second date. Drew remembers the first coffee date, the first of many.
The “I’m going to marry this person” moments came later. For Jenn, it was when Drew took her to where he grew up. She met all the important people in his life and saw the place that made him. For Drew, it was their first Christmas together. Cozy, warm, and full of holiday spirit.
Their friends still tell the airport story every chance they get. Honestly, can you blame them?
Jenn and Drew are casual people. They wanted a wedding that felt like them, not a production. Venue at the Grove gave them exactly that: an upscale backyard wedding with big, shady trees and a feel that doesn’t look like Arizona at all.
Drew waited under the arbor with his hands clasped and his eyes on the aisle. Then, partway through the ceremony, Jenn and Drew each picked up an Instax camera and took a photo of each other. Their guests loved it. So did we.
The first kiss was a full dip. The whole grove cheered, phones went up, and the bridesmaids lost it.
The trees at the Grove filter the evening light beautifully. Jenn twirled in her veil. Drew kissed her on the temple and she couldn’t stop smiling. And yes, there was another dip.
Their colors were dusty blue, navy, and ivory. Jenn carried blue hydrangeas and ivory roses. Her bridesmaids wore mixed shades of blue. Drew wore tan, and his groomsmen wore navy suits with floral ties. Every detail felt genuine to them.
Jenn and Drew told us what they hoped people would say afterward: that they had a great time and that everything flowed smoothly. Both boxes, checked.
Guests grabbed custom “Hedger Social Club, Est. 2026” hats, plus a few that read “You Look Like You Love Me.” The sweetheart table sat under the lit-up trees with a “Mr. & Mrs. Hedger” banner. Their first dance was sweet, and then the party took off. Light-up foam sticks. The entire dance floor crouched down in a circle. The groomsmen kick-lining across the patio, arm in arm, in their hats.
This is the part of a wedding that makes our job fun. Nothing was staged. These were Jenn and Drew’s people, having the time of their lives.
A day that flows doesn’t happen by accident. Our team builds the timeline with you ahead of time. Your Photography Coordinator keeps your vendors and your photographers on the same page. On the wedding day, we guide you through the in-between moments so you don’t have to think about them.
That’s how Jenn and Drew got to spend their night on the dance floor instead of checking the clock. That’s our job.
Jenn and Drew are starting a family tablecloth for the holidays. Everyone who joins them for the season will sign it, year after year. Their theme song? “Carry You Home” by Alex Warren. It fits.
Jenn and Drew, thank you for letting us be part of such a destined, heartfelt, genuine wedding day. We can’t wait to see that tablecloth fill up.
