How They Met

It’s so easy to fall in love with this couple… they are so calm and cool you can’t help but enjoy every minute you spend with them. They are goofy, outgoing and love staying active participating in events such as color run, tough mudder and the beer festival. They met in high school, and I must say, they are some of the sweetest high school sweethearts there is. They both played basketball where the teams traveled together and that really was the start of their friendship. The first date was to their junior year winter formal dance where he asked her to be his girlfriend. Fast forward five years of dating, moving to Chicago together was a big step for Meagan and Anthony allowing them to spend a lot time together and gave them such a great opportunity to grow as a couple not to mention that it made for such a great proposal story… A couple days before her birthday (and just a week before they moved back to Arizona), he took her to the park over looking the water by Navy Pier where he made arrangements to have a table set up with some pillows, picture frames and books that Anthony had bought her. The whole time she’s thinking it’s for her birthday… A character artist had come up to them and asked if he could draw a picture for them and Meagan was thinking it was for her birthday. Anthony agreed and when finished, the artist had shown the piece to Anthony first then to Meagan as Anthony got down on one knee she reads what the artist wrote and that was “Will you marry me?” Balling like a baby she said YES!!

Their SoHo63 Wedding

It was a rainy day for sure but why focus on that!! Meagan and Anthony had put so much time into making this the day they’ve dreamed of… and that is exactly what they got!! Meeting the two at the Chandler Hilton to get some preparation shots was just perfect and I especially loved watching Meagan take some time to make sure her vows were written so perfectly. SoHo63 was filled with amazing soft light which we took FULL advantage of! The navy and green palette they chose was just stunning for a fall wedding. The contemporary indoor spaces of The Plaza and The Gramercy Ballroom were just amazingly decorated. Congratulations you guys, I hope your Maui trip was amazing!!
