I am so excited to share this beautiful, long awaited, Villa Siena with you. For nearly 15 months Kim and Joe have been working on planning their wedding. Full of plum colors and sparkles it was perfection!! Kim had me in tears nearly all day long, from the moment she stepped into her dress! When time came for their first look, I watched Kim walk towards Joe fighting the tears gathering in her eyes… then the barrier broke and they went streaming down her cheek, Aaand, that’s about when the tears formed in my own eyes! I knew I had to fight it, get the shot… luckily they didn’t notice me being a mess over on the side. They shared that moment, just the two of them in their own world and I just loved it!! As the ceremony time approached, mom’s were escorted down the isle to their seats followed by each of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, flower girls and ring bearers. Finally it was time for Kim and her dad… As I stood up at the front toward Joe capturing different compositions within the frame of my camera I turned to see Kim and her dad. TEARS!!! Tears of JOY, ANTICIPATION and EXCITEMENT streaming down her cheek!! Once again… the emotion was so powerful the tears showed up in my eyes. AGAIN!! What the heck! I don’t cry at weddings!! Ok, maybe just a time or two but still, unacceptable Leslie! Get your act together! haha! Kim and Joe, I am so happy for you two. The intensity of the love you two have for each other is so powerful and felt by everyone around you. Congratulations again!! HUGS to you both!
