Sweet Villa Siena Wedding

This sweet Villa Siena couple has a great story of how they became… These two love birds meet while on the job… Jamie was an intern who was responsible for cleaning oil rig pad and Matt was a pad operator. With their 12 hour shifts there wasn’t much time for chatting but on the occasion that the two had the opportunity to socialize, Jamie would ask Matt for advise… about guys!!! And he would give her the advise but the question is… was it bad advise or “smart” advise so Matt could step in when it was time? ;)  Once Jamie’s internship was over, she moved to Vancouver Washington and the two lost touch but later reconnected thru facebook. Their first official date was actually a whole weekend when Matt went to visit her. They had a weekend full of activities including a Portland Trail Blazers Game and dining but their favorite part was the time spent at the arcade playing arcade basketball. The two were so comfortable with each other that just 2 months later they moved to North Pole, Alaska together. They were both at such peace about this decision being at such an early stage in their relationship because the were both so comfortable around each other, they share the same values and they each have qualities the other was looking for. A short time later Matt proposed with the help of their dog and here we are today!!

The wedding day was so peaceful! The two were so calm the entire day… even with the threat of the rain on their outdoor ceremony. Thankfully the rain held off for a bit longer and they were able to have their ceremony outside in beautiful, sweet Villa Siena’s Piazza Toscana Courtyard with the stone fireplace in the background. I just love the way these two are together, their contagious laughter, the way Matt holds her close and how she allows herself to fall into his embrace. I am so happy for these two!!! Congratulations Matt and Jamie, BIG HUGS to you both!!!
